My name is Smita. I have been associated with Love for Red since its inception. I have had an opportunity to see how this student founded organization has grown at the pace it has and the positive impact it has brought about in lives of people who menstruate and struggle to afford it.

I have faced accessibility issues and taboo growing-up in a different country , but was quite surprised to learn how prevalent of an issue it is here in the United States as well. It is an issue that needs more attention, discussions and engagement in order to fight it. Acceptance about this issue is imperative!

When I have some free time, I like to spend it in my garden and my kitchen!
