I joined Love For Red for many reasons but the leading cause was because I wasn’t educated enough about period poverty especially as a growing woman. When I discovered this group I felt that this was a topic that should be discussed within society’s culture and not something that is hidden or overlooked. Period poverty is something we struggle as a community and society and Love For Red helps fight that which is why I joined this organization in the first place!
Fun Fact: A few of my hobbies are baking, reading a good book, spending time with friends and family, and talking evening strolls around my neighborhood!
